Marty finds his headstone knocked over at the cemetery. While investigating, Jeff is hit with a shovel and knocked out by a man dressed in 18th century garb. His head injury is treated by the owner of the mansion located next to the cemetery, a man with an agoraphobic son living in the basement. When the son is kidnapped, Jeff finds a connection to the strangely-dressed man who hit him. | | There are no foreign summaries for this episode: Contribute |

Episode Quotes |
| |
Jean: You still think a lot about Marty, too, don't you?
Jeff: He's not an easy man to forget. | (As Jeff lies on a grave, recovering from being hit)
Mandrake: This is no way to show respect for the dead, young man!
Jeff: He's not complaining. | Mandrake: Now, how does £100 a week appeal to you...regularly?
Jeff: Well, that and a desert island with Miss World along has been one of my most cherished amitions. |

Episode Goofs |
| |
The area around Marty's grave looks completely different from the other episodes. | Jeff puts flowers on Marty's grave, but when the camera angle changes different flowers are shown on the grave and in Jeff's hand. | It is unbelievable that someone could dig a tunnel leading from a basement to an outside exit while going beneath graves (that are dug six feet deep and encased in concrete). | Jean is aware of the fact that Harry has been kidnapped, yet she has had no contact with Mandrake or with Jeff in order to obtain this information. | There are a number of shots where it is obvious that Mike Pratt's stand-in is in the scene. One shot (where Jeff goes to the window) shows the stand-in's face. | Jeff chases Harper, who goes into the greenhouse and locks the door. Harper is not in the greenhouse when Jeff arives, so he must have escaped through the tunnel. Yet, the entrance to the tunnel (which could only be covered from outside the tunnel, not inside) is covered when Jeff breaks into the greenhouse. |

Sign on Harry's bedroom wall: "Beat the Breathalyser. Smoke Pot."
Harry is presented as a counter-culture "hippie"-type, so the sign (which sneaked past the tight censorship rules of British and American television in the late 1960s) reinforces his character. |
