The drama from the previous episode spills over unto this one while Jillian admits to Cara and Susie that she told Kina about the idea of an alliance being brought up by the Veteran guys. The next day they arrive at their next mission where they will have to be paired up and walk across a tight rope above water with a rope in between them. Landon and Alton are first up and through they struggle at first they end up making it across to the other side in about 11 minutes. Though others come close to making it across so far no one has and it comes down to Beth and Timmy to get the win for the Veterans. Beth doesn't seem to be trying very hard to even attempt to go across and her team yells and screams for the two to go but time eventually runs out and the rookies claim their third straight victory. At the team meeting Montana is voted in mostly cause her team feels she matchs up best with Beth based on size. TJ comes in to spin the wheel and it lands on Captains Choice and Beth choses Reverse Tug of War. At the Gauntlet the Rookies come with signs rooting for Beth and the Veterans hope Montana will send Beth home. Montana puts up a good fight but Beth is to much for her and Beth wins to remain captain. Derrick reluctanly congratulates her and she says he would of rather have Montana win and Derrick tells her she is right because Beth is the meanest person he has ever met. The Veterans are all disappointed that they are still stuck with Beth. ..
