  Season 16 (The Island)  
It's all about survival in the sixteenth season of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, The Island. Twenty cast members from past seasons of The Real World, Road Rules, and Fresh Meat Challenge pack their bags and head to Panama, where a whole new challenge is born.

This season, there is a new concept in place. There are no predetermined teams; it is up to the cast members to form their own alliances. On a nearby island awaits $300,000 to be split among the four people who reach it first. In order to get to the island, cast members must construct two boats from the materials they are given. However, not everyone is allowed on the boats. Each week, three contestants compete for the chance to earn a key. This key entitles the person to board the boat to get to the island to win the cash. The two losing competitors are up for elimination, and one of them will be voted off the island. Only eight key-holders may board the boats, but no key-holder is ever guaranteed complete safety.
