Sam and the guys are at Sock's house waiting for the call from Alan. Sam goes to change for work and finds himself teleported to a dressing room. The Devil wants him to put on better clothing as part of his new role as the Devil's lieutenant on Earth. As they leave the store, the Devil says that he's giving Sam a break and wants him to go to a tutor to learn how to perform his new duties and gain a better understanding of Hell. Outside, Sam discovers that the Devil has a motorcycle for him as a gift. The Devil finally admits he's trying to soften the blow: he lured Alan to Las Vegas and tricked him into sinning, sending him to Hell. Sam will never learn how to challenge the Devil. Sam walks away before the Devil can give him a pony.
Back at Sock's place, Sam discovers Andi waiting for Alan's call because Sock and Ben want to go outside and exercise. He explains what happened and warns her that from now on he's taking off the kid gloves and going after the Devil directly.
As Ben is working at the Work Bench on the midnight shift, an angry Nina starts dropping crates and tools on him. He tries to calm her down and tells her to be mature about the break-up. She comes after him and shoves him off a loading dock, then flies away.
Sam meets with his new tutor, Sally, who lives in a luxurious manor. She reviews his interests in evil but isn't too impressed with Sam's answers. She figures there's nothing she can do for someone so lacking in bloodlust. Sam does ask her to teach him one thing: how to destroy the Devil. Sally notes his bloodlust on that topic is impressive. As she escort Sam out for the day, she explains that the Devil keeps her there and refuses to let her see anyone. Sam asks Sally if he can come back so the Devil at least thinks she's teaching him and Sally agrees.
At the Work Bench, Sock and Ben discuss Nina and Sock figures that she's trying to get Ben's attention. He advises Ben to ignore her the next time she comes after him. Sam asks Andi for the time off to meet with Sally, then tells her his new plan: he's going to seduce the Devil's secrets from her. Andi points out he isn't much of a seducer and gives him some flowers, then wishes him good luck.
Sam and Sock are at home when a delivery guy arrives. Mr. Oliver has ordered a complete computer set up. He explains to the guys that since he can't go out since he's dead, he plans to surf the Internet full-time.
That night, Sock and Ben are going to get food when Nina in her demon form attack the car. She rips off the windshield and stabs at them her tail, but the guys manfully ignore her and she flies away.
The next day at work, Sam gets teleported to a cooking store. The Devil is there and wants to know how Sam's first class went. Sam lies and says that Sally asked about him. The Devil reveals he's gone through Sally's garbage and learned she wants a vegetable steamer. He gives one to Sam to give to Sally on his behalf, and admits most women don't want him around because he tends to treat them like... well, the Prince of Darkness. Sam goes back to the mansion but starts his seduction campaign by giving Sally the steamer and claiming it's from him. He then starts complimenting her on her appearance, and she figures he has a crush on her. Sam insists it's no crush and invites her to dinner. Sally agrees but says they should keep it a secret: the Devil ripped apart the last man who gave her a foot rub. Sam hastily agrees.
Later, the Devil meets Sam at the Work Bench and asks after Sally. Sam lies again and the Devil asks him to give Sally the Devil's phone number.
Andi is dealing with Ted and Pesi when Sam asks to meet with her in private. He explains to her that he's taking Sally out to dinner and she admits that she's jealous. However, since she's the one who put their relationship on hold until Sam gets out of her contract, she doesn't believe she has the right to ask him to stop.
Mr. Oliver keeps e-mailing Sock with invitations to his hockey fantasy league, much to Sock's irritation. Nina arrives and asks to talk to Ben, but Sock has his friend go in the back office. He tells Nina that she can't see Ben despite her attempts to apologize. Ben can't resist her but Sock stands firm. Nina gives him one last chance and then ominously leaves.
Sam and Sally have dinner at a fancy restaurant and Sam tells her what the Devil did to Alan. Sally notes that if she has any more wine, she might spill some of the Devil's secrets. She says she's happy to be out with him and asks if there's anyone else in his life. Sam lies and says there isn't, and she leans over and kisses him. Sam draws back and explains about Andi. Sally isn't deterred, but before she can pursue the matter, the Devil arrives. He knows what they're doing and goes after Sally when she leaves.
Sock finds Nina waiting for him at home that night. She wants to talk to him while Ben is working the midnight shift. She takes off her clothing and tries to seduce him, but Sock refuses. When she discovers that she can't get through to him sexually, she reaches forward and rips out his heart. Startled, Sock wakes up from his demon-induced dream. The next day, he tells Sam what happened and gets the parts to build a flamethrower to burn down Nina's lair.
As Sam is leaving for the day, the Devil teleports him to the mansion. The Devil is more depressed than angry, and admits he can understand why Sam fell for Sally's charms. He then explains to Sam that Sally is an escaped soul, and the Devil gave her special treatment because he was in love with her. He says that now it's a matter of honor and Sam has to Reap her soul. He gives Sam the new vessel: a revolver.
Sam goes inside and holds her at gunpoint. He offers her a deal: if he takes all the blame, she gives him the Devil's secrets. Sally refuses, admitting that she likes having an affair with the second most powerful entity in the universe. She then extends her fingernails and attacks Sam. After a struggle, Sam manages to come out on top. He offers her one more chance, but they're interrupted when the Devil leaps through the window and telekinetically subdues Sam. Having overheard Sally's comments, the Devil is now sure she loves him. She admits that she lusts after him, and the vegetable steamer seals the deal. Sam watches as the Devil and Sally head upstairs to her bedroom.
Sock takes Ben to Nina's lair and prepares to burn the place down. A human-shaped Nina arrives and isn't surprised, saying that the villagers always come to burn out the monster. Ben insists he doesn't think of her as a monster, and then admits that he screwed up. Nina agrees, and Ben tries to convince Sock to let bygones be bygones. Sock agrees and they exchange a manly hug... and Sock sets the place on fire.
Sam goes to talk to his father, still living in Sock's garage. Mr. Oliver says that he hates the Internet and hates fantasy hockey. With no choice of a real life, Mr. Oliver asks Sam to send him to Hell. There he hopes to find a way to get Sam out from his deal as well as escape his own bargain. Sam agrees and gets the special Nerf Gun vessel. Sock and Ben say their goodbyes to Mr. Oliver, and Sock gives him a cell phone he stole from Ted. Sam and his father have one last hug and then Sam sends his father to Hell.
Later, Andi comes over to talk to Sam after hearing about his father. As they pack away Mr. Oliver's computers, Sam tells Andi that nothing happened between him and Sally. They're interrupted when Sam's phone rings: it's his father, who says he's made it to Hell.
