| 1 :01x01 - Guts (Jul/21/2004) | Tommy Gavin is a firefighter with 62 Truck of the FDNY. He's somewhat of a troubled soul. He's still having trouble with the loss of his best friend, cousin, and firefighter - Jimmy. Jimmy was lost and on 9/11 and Tommy still sees him in his mind and talks to him. Additionally, he sees children he's tried to save that didn't make it as well.
Tommy and his wife, Janet, are in the middle of getting a divorce and Tommy is having a hard time with her seeing other men. It's not easy as she lives across the road with their three children.
The other guys of 62 truck have their own quirks including womanizing, gambling problems, and depression.
