Episode Quotes

Tommy: God damn it! You made me spill my coffee. It's all over the side of the truck.
Sheila: What kind of flavor was it?
Tommy: My favorite flavor,... brown.

Tommy: I've been waiting my whole career, really, to ask this question, are you Chief Pecker?
Chief Pecher: Pecher, it's French.
Tommy: French for pecker by chance?

Janet: You're about to lie.
Tommy: I'm not about to lie. What are you talking about?
Janet: I know you.
Tommy: You know me?
Janet: I smell a lie.
Tommy: It's probably Lou's feet from the other room.

Lou: Don't let me end up like that, huh.
Tommy: Like what?
Lou: Like a guy who doesn't know when it's time to walk away.

Lou: Jesus!... Is this thing moving?
Cousin Mike: Whadda you think? It's connected to the docks. The docks are floatin' on the water. Do the math.
Lou: Is the water moving?
Cousin Mike: It's been known to.

Cultural References

Lou: Can we stop with the Mad Libs here for a minute, okay?

Mad Libs is a word game where there is a story with missing words, i.e. nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc., and those words have to be replaced by another person. The story is retold usually with humorous results. Mad Libs was created in the 1950's.

Lou: I wanna defend your right to bang Hansel and Gretel.

Hansel and Gretel are sibling characters in a fairytale, most notably told by the Brothers Grimm, where their father leaves them in the forest because he can no longer can afford to raise them. They leave a trail of bread crumbs, but the trail is eaten by the denizens of the forest and they come across a house made of gingerbread. The rest of the story is for you to find and read.

Lou: It's Theresa not Mother Theresa.

Mother Theresa was a Roman Catholic nun that saw worldwide recognition for her humanitarian work in Calcutta, India before her death 1997 at the age of 87.

Episode References

Vinny: Tell me that wasn't your kid brother in the news last week.
