Does Janet's depression endanger the baby and herself? I think so.
"Baby Blues" is common in new mothers but not dangerous to the child or mother and lasts a short time.
"Postpartum Depression" (PPD) is much more serious and can get worse.
"Postpartum Psychosis" is dangerous to the child as well to the mother.
I think Janet has PPD and fast closing in on psychosis.
