Do I need to watch the first season?

I was thinking about giving the show a chance, but I can only find the second season, should I just try out a few episodes of the second season or is Season 1 a must?

Well u should try to watch from begining, otherwise u wont understand a thing from the show.

I've only been watching the 2nd season as i couldn't find the 1st, and I've caught up quite quickly. Although finding out that dean might be the father of michelle's baby was a shock as I'd missed them getting together.
