The episode begins in the winter of 2008 where Aiden and Emily are running through a maze and are being followed by dogs. They then jump over a gate and Emily helps Aiden to jump over. On landing, Aiden quickly grabs the flag; he won the competition. It was one of Takeda’s exercises and he tells Emily that exploiting the opponent’s emotions and weaknesses is the key to Revenge. Cut to the present, Emily pushes off Aiden and tells him that she doesn’t need a nanny. The white haired man is lying on the floor dead. At the moment what she needs is his help. The dead man’s blood is all over the floor and Emily begins cleaning it. ..
