I am a bit baffled by the whole premise of this episode, namely that the huge tunnel they were in was so low on oxygen that they were hallucinating. Before the explosion that closed one end of the tunnel, it seemed to be wide open and well ventilated. There were less than 10 of them and miles of tunnel, how could the oxygen be used up so quickly?

^ iiuc those torches use a hellova lot of oxygen and the whole gang were hyperventilating constantly cos they're all scared of rats.

( I don't know why they didn't just have one of them go "sniff sniff, can you smell that, that smells like hydro-metha-soluate gas, which, as you all know, can cause hallucinations, make torches go all flickery and do other stuff too, we'd better get outta here right sharpish )
