Episode discussion for: 01x01 | Pilot (Sep 17, 2012)

I`ve just seen the pilot and I can see this cancelled after the first season, why? It´s just boring and predictable, the writers try to add some mystery and sometimes you listen to some kind of LOST background music that brings back memories of a good show.but this lacks of charm and you can´t relate with the characters.

Canceled? No way. I liked the show. I loved the plot, the characters and the whole story so far.

It is interesting and makes you think what might happen next, and I like that. If it is not a replacement for Lost, it atleast something quite close to it.

I am think LadiLulu on this. I absolutely loved the show. I was glued to the TV for the entire hour.

The way the blackout started was so nerveracking, the twists in the story with Miles being saved and Danny actually being shot was all very interesting to me.

I believe it was a good start. Although they could have really made it more thrilling and have everyone really want to watch the next episode. But, they can improve upon it from the next episodes.

The pilot was very good; at least in my opinion. You should definitely give it a shot.

I thought the whole purpose of a series pilot was to capture attention. This pilot has actually left a lot of viewers turned off.

i found the idea of the show somewhat interesting, and it does have some great actors in it expecially Gus from breaking bad.

BUT the kids suck so bad in shows these days. charlie and her brother are horrendous. hopefully they get better as episodes go along because that made a potential 8/10 turn to about a 5/10.

with all of Abrams experience he doesnt realize they suck as actors?

True. This one seems like it is trying to ape an iconic show like Lost

I for one don't think it is getting cancelled anytime soon. It is a decent show.

I don't think it is as boring as you are saying. I agree it has some resemblance to Lost. But, the show is still good on its own.

The second episode is out as well. How come there is no thread to discuss the second episode of revolution.
