If you don't like this change the channel.

The content is neither crass nor pornographic -- reasons to demand cancellation.

This show might teach survival skills in a postobamic world.

Although having an interesting premise this is a real pain to watch. The writing is as predictable as a calendar, the only likeable character is one of the "bad guys" (the captain).
And the acting, oh, the acting. A pretty face doesn't make an actor, which becomes painfully clear in this show.
Seriously, America needs to stop producing dumb shows like this. It's such a waste producing for the "lowest common denominator", all the stupid people are satisfied with trivial shows in the "reality" genre.
So make scripted shows smart and interesting, I know you can!

Well, with the library of good shows to their names, Kripke and Abrams should have been able to pull out a stunner together. Alas, not so! The idea is a potential gold mine, despite being yet another armageddon based series, if only the actual product wasn't such a cataclysm.

I found it to be cheesy, anachronistic, predictable and slightly ridiculous in presentation. The basic premise of humanity, suddenly, having to deal with a complete absence of electricity is full of plot lines and even educational potential. Unfortunately the writing was dumbed down, to reach a low intelligence audience.

Thirty years after civilization had crumbled there was no real indication of hardship. All of the characters were wearing brand new clothes. The former Google geek was really fat. Airplanes sat on the tarmac in pristine condition. The cities were just emptier versions of todays metropolis. And on, and on!

It really is a shame that a quality show, like Terra Nova, was canceled on the FOX network while NBC answers with...this.

Apparently even the great producers haven't learned any lessons from shows like Lost, Heroes, X-Files, Buffy/Angel, Stargate, Farscape, Jericho, First Wave, Alcatraz... they seem to be making the same mistakes over and over - but bigger and worse than before.

I really do hope that the opening show was just an aberration, that the premise will be allowed to live up to it's promise, but I'm not going to hold my breath after that start.
