As the Enterprise arrive at Gorgeous Springs, TN, to pick up passengers, the Jennings family arrive in their wagon. The father, Gould, leads his clan aboard while his younger brother Barry puts the team away. Lovie complains that she's never been on a boat before, and her new husband Rush assures her everything will be fine. While Gould's wife, Charity, tells Rush to help Lovie, Carney is watching and notices that Rush is carrying a box marked "explosives." He goes to the pilothouse and tells Bill and the pilot goes down to investigate...

Gould Jennings: Does this box worry you?
Bill: Any box marked "Danger Explosives" makes us uneasy, yes.

Inez Cox: Let me go. I never got me a Jennings.
Salem Cox: When you gonna find out you're a girl?
