Joan is working at the Ritz cinema and as Freddie's charlady. Her time working for Freddie though is end on more romantic pursuits than cleaning. Joan is plagued by the unwelcome attentions of her boss, Mr. Raynor at the cinema. Del is smitten by Barbara whose father runs a successful funeral business. Things are going well until Del ends up gets trapped in the kitchen with Barbara's drunk mum.
