A field of unsigned rock performers compete to be the lead singer of a popular rock band in this reality series, in which one aspiring band member is eliminated from the competition each week.
Season one had fifteen contestants vying to replace 80s pop/rock/dance band INXS vocalist Michael Hutchence. Former Elvis Impersonator Jason Dean Bennison was ultimately selected to take the former lead singer’s place.
Season two features sixteen more aspiring rock stars hoping to become a member of a newly formed band, to be called “Supernova”, which includes former members of Mötley Crüe, Metallica and Guns ‘N Roses.
