Rodney’s career is finally taking off, or so he thinks. He tells Trina that he’ll be making about $150 a night at the comedy club, but Hank never bothered to mention that every night is ladies’ night and they won’t be paying.
The next morning, Carl brings a toaster to the house since their old one was broken. Trina tells him that they don’t need it because Rodney is doing so well. She tells him he can keep his toaster and tells him to drop their bills off at the post office. Rodney never got a chance to tell Trina he’s making less than he thought.
Later that day, Rodney goes to see Barry and ask him for a job. He needs extra money so he doesn’t have to tell Trina that he’s making less than he originally thought. Just before he leaves, Rodney decides to play with the nail gun. He nails his and Barry’s feet to the floor.
Meanwhile, Rodney has been trying to convince the boys that he is a superhero. He has no trouble convincing Bo, but Jack is has a harder time believing. The episode ends as Barry hoists Rodney through the air to make Jack think he is flying.
