The plumbing goes out at the Hamilton house forcing them to come up with $1000 in two weeks. Carl offers to loan them the money and Rodney declines. Barry's plumber is the one doing the job so all they are paying for is parts. Rodney asks him if he can work off the money, and Barry lets him know things are slow.

When the price goes to $1400 up front, Trina takes the money from Carl without telling Rodney. Once he finds out, he goes to talk to Carl about the loan. He asks for a job and gets hired on as a repo man - a profession Trina thinksis too dangerous.

On the job, Rodney becomes a star employee. On his last job, he goes to repo a car from a family that's fallen on tough times just like him. He can't bring himself to do it and ends up quitting his job with Carl.
