Season one was really good, very trustworthy show. It's a nice mix of fancy scenery, great drama and lots of sex & violence.
If the historical facts are good or not, I can't say, but I guess it's good that I'm not a history student or something like that. Most shows that are based on "true events" often aren't so true I would guess. In Rome I think Ceasar is portrait as a firm but just leader. I'm so amazed over his truly compassionate and almost naive attitude toward Brutus and the others who fight against him. He always chooses the nice way.
The two soliderboys, Titus and Lucius, are awesome too. Really great how they become good friends despite being so diffrent. And they encounter all sorts of crazy adeventures.
