The episode begins with Epstein out patrolling with Shaw. They receive a distress call and are on to it. They check out the address from where they got the call. It’s a secondary school. Epstein takes the lead on it. Inside they find out that it was a prank. He also realizes that he left the keys in the ignition of the car, he runs out and finds the car missing. Meanwhile after spending the night together Andy asks Sam get ready to go to work. Later, Frank tells everyone in the precinct to keep a look out for the squad card that has been stolen. The car’s security system was removed was removed before the car was stolen. Frank tells the guys the thief knew what he was doing. The car also contained a shotgun. Andy: Sam, come on. I mean, how long are we going to keep this up.
Sam: I don't know, I'm in decent shape. I'd say I've got another good forty years. Even then, I heard they got pills for that.
Andy: You know what I mean.
Nick: Are you free for a drink tonight?
Nick: How about tomorrow?
Nick: Is this one of those things where I keep asking and you keep saying no?
Andy: You think we're too different, don't you?
Andy: You don't think we're gonna last.
Sam: Andy, uh, if we were the same, that kid in there might be dead right now. Yes, we're different, so we'll deal with it.
Andy: Is that what you really think?
Sam: I think you were ready to marry someone else six months ago.
Andy: Sam, come on. You gotta know, I mean, you and me...it's not the same.
Sam: Okay. So what's the rush?
Batman and Robin: Troy tells Chris that the guys who organized the scavenger hunt, and stole the squad car, are "like Batman and Robin, but cooler."
