Officials at Carlsbad Caverns National Park are flabbergasted when renown scientist Mark Christopher brings a convoy of families and animals into the caves with every intention of settling down. It seems that Christopher is in possession of information that leads him to believe that Russia is shortly planning to launch a nuclear attack on the US, and he has brought his ragtag group to the caverns in an attempt to survive the holocaust he believes is imminent.
