|
Broadway sensation Arlene Sims (Anne Francis) suddenly breaks off her career to return to her hometown of Butte, Montana. Arlene is dying of a rare disease and has returned home to spend her final days. But she didn't count on meeting Buz Murdock, who becomes smitten with her. As their relationship grows, Buz contemplates marriage, blissfully unaware that Arelene's time is running out.
