Episode Notes
Filmed in St. Louis, Missouri (October 27-November 5, 1962) and Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida (April 5-7, 1963).

This episode was originally supposed to feature George Maharis, who quit the series for good just as "Soda Pop" was slated for production in St. Louis, Missouri. It was decided that Martin Milner would go ahead and film his scenes for the show in anticipation of a replacement for Maharis at some future date. Months later, after Glenn Corbett had been established as Maharis' replacement, guest star Tom Bosley was hired to film a few scenes with Corbett, and the episode was finally completed.
