Hank is running on the beach when he notices Harper working out with an instructor and a group of students. Hank flirts with her until the instructor chases him away.
Divya's mother ends her stay with Divya and returns to London. She asks Divya to call her after her date.
Dr. Jeremiah Sacani is sitting in his car practicing his verbal skills. Jeremiah is keen to impress Hank now that Hank has returned to HankMed.
Evan is on the phone dealing with a supply problem when he wanders outside to see Paige. She has started painting again and is quite accomplished. Paige surprises Evan with the news that she has setup a meeting with Sidney Bartlett, who represents the Blackstone Country Club, an account Evan has been trying to win for years. She tells him Sidney is a fat jolly man who likes cigars, so Evan plans accordingly.
Hank stops by to speak with Boris about the venture that Boris offered him. Boris cannot tell Hank any details but Hank's inclusion in the venture requires him to wear a special pager watch, and to come to Boris' estate immediately upon being paged without notifying anyone, removing the SIM card from his cell phone. Hank agrees to the terms.
Divya and Jeremiah are called to the beach to treat Woody Keegan, a surfer who has dislocated his hip. The dislocation has caused the loss of blood flow to his lower leg, a very serious condition. Jeremiah tries unsuccessfully to return the hip to it's proper location so Divya calls Hank. Jeremiah, wager to impress Hank via Divya, uses his cell phone surreptitiously to download a video on the proper technique to restore the hip. The procedure works and Divya is suitably impressed.
Hank returns home where Evan is preparing for his meeting. Hank tells Evan about the possibility of disappearing on a moments notice for Boris and Evan assumes Boris is ill once more. Hank doesn't confirm of deny but allows Evan his speculation to avoid any further discussion. Divya and Jeremiah return and Hank congratulates Jeremiah on his work with the dislocated hip but Jeremiah doesn't reveal the source of his newfound knowledge. Hank asks Divya about her mother and when he learns her father is not taking the separation well, Hank suggest she visit him using a medical excuse.
Evan meets Sydney Bartlett at the Blackstone, who turns out to be a female, and the daughter of the late Sidney Bartlett. Evan's preparations are for naught and he leaves the room, returning to start over and trying to keep his foot out of his mouth.
After his meeting, Evan tells Paige he thinks it went well just as Sydney walks by them. Sydney takes no notice of either of them until Paige calls after her. The two women hug and exchange platitudes, then Sydney leaves having never said one word to Evan who stands nearby.
Sydney then encounters some angry country club members who have apparently been double and triple booked on the tennis courts. Sydney leaves in a panic, promising to look into the schedule.
Divya stops to see her father Devesh and verify he is continuing his medications since her mother left him. He is in perfect health but angry and vindictive concerning his wife. Divya loses her temper and shouts at him, telling him he will end up alone if he continues his behavior. He is fatalistic.
Hank goes to meet Sydney where he expresses condolences for her father and some concern about her state of mind. Their meeting is interrupted by a country club member and Sydney once again messes up by forgetting the wife's name and thinking she was the man's daughter. Hank leaves and meets Evan in the lobby who is upset that Hank didn't push HankMed's business agenda. Evan returns to see Sydney only to find that she has had an accident and is lying unconscious on the floor, bleeding from the impact with a glass coffee table she broke when she stumbled and fell.
Evan calls Hank and does what he can for Sydney until Hank arrives. Sydney apologizes and confuses Evan for Hank. Hank stops the bleeding and diagnoses a broken nose. The paramedics arrive just as Hank's pager watch goes off. Evan assures Hank he can leave and promises to accompany Sydney to the hospital.
Divya meets her blind date Jim at the restaurant. An innocent comment from Jim sends Divya into a diatribe about her parents' problems, causing Jim to be very uncomfortable. When she finally realizes what she has been doing, she asks Jim what he does for a living and he reveals he is a family therapist.
Hank arrives at Boris' estate to discover that the page was a false alarm. Boris takes the opportunity to have Hank sign a non-disclosure agreement and to chide Hank for his lax security precautions regarding his cell phone.
Divya returns to Devesh's house to apologize for yelling at him. He does not answer the door or phone and when she walks around to the back of the house, she see him floating face down in the pool. She manages to get him out of the water and calls for help.
Hank heads for the hospital to check on Sydney and runs into Harper who is there to check on one of her pediatric patients. Hank flirts again and manages to finally convince her to have dinner with him. Suddenly the paramedics arrive with Devesh and Divya runs after them, completely ignoring Hank and Evan.
The next morning, Hank and Evan are eating breakfast with Jeremiah when Jeremiah confesses he cheated by looking up the procedure to fix the hip on his patient. He apologizes for letting Hank down and expects to be fired for not following the HankMed way. Hank congratulates him on using his extensive research skills to find a way to help his patient and tells him he will have to see his patients without Divya today, as she is still at the hospital with her father.
Paige comes home from doing yoga at the Blackstone and tells them she saw Sydney who failed to recognize her. They discuss the matter and Evan reveals that Sydney had an auto accident while driving to see her dying father at the hospital. Hank analyzes the clues and is concerned something concrete is wrong with Sydney.
Hank and Evan arrive at Sydney's office and she fails to recognize them. He leads her to the mirror and she cannot recognize herself, let alone Hank and Evan. Hank says she suffered head trauma in her auto accident that has caused her condition, known as face blindness. Hank arranges for her to see a neurologist.
Hank stops to see Devesh and finds Divya by his side. Devesh is in a coma and Divya blames herself. Devesh's injuries are not consistent with him accidentally falling into the pool and Divya thinks he tried to kill himself.
Hank sees Sydney after her MRI and reveals she did have a concussion, but that her condition should improve over time as the swelling in her brain subsides. Sydney is so impressed that she signs HankMed to a retainer.
Hank congratulates Evan on signing the Blackstone but Evan is not as excited as expected. Evan confesses he is worried about the 500 potential clients since he essentially runs the business side alone. Hank tells him to hire some help and when Evan mentions Paige wanting to help, Hank says to hire her. Evan is reluctant, afraid that working with Paige might cause them to fight and breakup but he decides to anyway.
Hank meets Harper at the restaurant. Harper is late and Hank gently chides her about not being socially responsible. Suddenly, Hank's watch pager goes off again and he apologizes and leaves. Harper says it is okay, it is her fault for breaking her own rule about dating doctors.
Hank arrives at Boris' estate to find a helicopter waiting with Boris inside. Hank climbs in and the helicopter takes off.
