Episode Quotes
Paige: Why does a medical practice need a Ferrari?
Evan: To cut down on response time. That is the only reason I'm doing it, for the patients.
Paige: The only reason?
Evan: Okay, maybe also because it's my destiny to own a Ferrari.

Sam Chard: Henry Lawson, born August twenty third. I won't mention the year because that just wouldn't be classy. Passaic high, Northwestern University, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Your brother's fiancee's father is running for Senate. Oh, and unlike your father, you've never been arrested. Except for that time in Atlantic City.
Hank: I was 20 years old, and it was a few hands of blackjack.
Sam Chard: I know.
Hank: Can we just talk about you?

Evan: Christina. Hank's never mentioned you. Don't take that personally, though, because Hank doesn't tell me anything.
Christina DuMond: He does play it close to the vest.
Hank: Don't I, though?
Evan: Yeah, sometimes a little too close for my taste.

Boris: Hank, I don't foresee Christina settling down with a... a country doctor.
Hank: You set me up with her.
Boris: Yeah, I wanted you two to have a nice dinner, never imagined that she' stay past dessert. At least not the Christina I know.
Hank: Are we done here?
Boris: Hank, I'm sure I needn't remind you, id she asks any questions about me...
Hank: Believe me, your name hasn't come up. And I don't expect it to.
Boris: Just be careful, Hank.

Boris: What can I do for you, Hank?
Hank: Did you tell Christina about Dmitry's liver transplant?
Boris: I did not.
Hank: Then we need to talk.

Hank: Sorry about that, about him (Evan).
Sam Chard: Oh, actually it helps to have a bit of unpredictability around. Keeps me on my toes.
Hank: Yeah, he's good at that. I've lived on my toes for 30 years.

Divya: It seems that you're feeling more comfortable with your patient already.
Dr. Jeremiah Sacani: Yeah, I always feel more comfortable with emotion when it has a specific neurological explanation.

visual: Evan badgers Hank for information about Christina.
Hank: Oh, what will it take to shut you up?
Evan: Your 20%.
Hank: Done, you got it.
Evan: Nice doing business with you.

Divya: What got into you?
Dr. Jeremiah Sacani: The button said, "Push in case of emergency." We had an ill patient under duress.
Divya: Nicely done.

Evan: Evelyn Larson? Her name was Evelyn freakin' Larson!
Paige: Evan! Maybe it's time you give up the dream. You know, at least for now. I think it's bringing back your childhood in more ways than one.

Christina DuMond: Boris fired me and said you'd be able to explain why.
Hank: Oh he did, did he? Well I assume it's because you were talking to Dmitry behind Boris's back. Look, loyalty isn't something Boris takes lightly.

Boris: I think we are done here, Hank.
Hank: I couldn't agree more. If you don't feel well, call me. Other than that... (takes off his pager watch and sets it on the table), I'm out.

Episode Goofs
Christina tells Hank that Boris fired her. She then says that her work for Boris ended when the summit was complete, so how can he fire her from a job that was over? This is either a writers' inconsistency or the Christina character trying to be dramatic with Hank.

Cultural References
Evan: There's a reason Paige calls me "The Fiance Whisperer".

This is a play on words referring the The Horse Whisperer, a 1998 feature film about a man with the mystical talent to heal horses.

Episode References
visual: Hank's pager watch beeps.
Christina DuMond: I guess you are being summoned.
Hank: I am.
Evan: So she knows about the house arrest beeper watch as well?

In episode 4x06, About Face, Boris gives Hank a pager watch as a way to securely request Hank's presence in support to Boris' business interests.
