Episode Quotes
Hank: Wait and see where I'm taking you for dinner tonight.
Dr. Harper Kubelick: Oh, I have a meeting with a referring doctor tonight. Tomorrow?
Hank: I'm on call.
Dr. Harper Kubelick: Oh, wait. So am I.
Hank: Typical workaholic doctor.

Evan: (to Paige, talking about her cleaning around his house) Okay, "A," you don't have to do this. "B," how dirty do you think we are?

Hank: Is everything okay? You seem unusually anxious.
Divya: Do I?
Hank: Yeah and honestly, for the last few days, you've seemed unusually giddy.
Divya: I've met someone.

visual: Hank is engrossed in the romance novel he got from Jackie.
Evan: Can you take a break from the housewife porn for one sec?
Hank: Jackie sent it, I'm just reading it to be polite.
Evan: Look, I don't care what kind of weird stuff you're into, I just need your advice.

Evan: (talking about Paige) She just seems so lost. I want to help her! I have no idea how. There are no... pep talks for this. There are no sweet fiancee things I can do to fix it for her.
Hank: You can't fix it. But you can be there. That's plenty.

General William Collins: We wanted Paige to feel secure and loved.
Evan: She did. She, she does.
General William Collins: She has every right to be angry with us. We kept this secret too long. I've always been too willing to keep secrets. But I honestly believed I was protecting my family... the only way I knew how.
Evan: You know Paige. You know she loves you. She just needs time.

Dr. Harper Kubelick: Give it to Divya, she sure goes all out to make a statement.
Hank: Not usually, right Ev?
Evan: Yeah, it's pretty un-Divya.
Hank: She's usually so...
Evan: Uptight?
Hank: I was gonna say "reserved".
Evan: Yeah, me too.

Evan: So Rafa may be dying?
Dr. Jeremiah Sacani: Uh... actually I've only performed an X-Ray. He needs more tests.
Evan: You've only... what? So he may not be dying?
Dr. Jeremiah Sacani: Uh, maybe not.
Evan: Why would you start with the fatal stuff? Aren't you supposed to rule out the little things before you go scaring the hell out of people like me?

Paige: Evan... I miss my mom and dad. They're my parents. They've taken care of me my whole life and they know me better than anyone. They may not have made me, but... they made me who I am. Will you come home with me?
Evan: Of course I will. Right now?
Paige: Yeah.
Evan: Let's do this.

Hank: In all out negotiating about how this relationship would work, don't you think we skipped a step?
Dr. Harper Kubelick: What do you mean?
Hank: The fun, falling for each other, "throw caution to the wind" part. We skipped it.
Dr. Harper Kubelick: Yeah, you're right. There hasn't been much falling, more like a controlled descent.

Evan: Are you looking for Paige?
Paige's birth Mother: Yes. Yes.
Evan: Oh. What's it regarding? I'm her fiancee.
Paige's birth Mother: I'm... her mother.

Cultural References
Jackie Van Ark: It's an Étagère. It's built to display delicate objets d'Art.

An Étagère is a piece of furniture from the late 18th century in France used to display ornaments and small art objects.

Episode References
Paige: I'm doing it again.
Evan: You're doing it again.
Paige: Yeah. I am filling my time care-taking, instead of facing the thing I should be facing.

In episode 3x12, Some Pig, Paige finally comes to the realization that she has been catering to her parents' needs rather than fulfilling her own ambitions and goals.
