Episode Quotes
Boris: So the trap is nearly set. The sealed indictment is in place, and in a matter of weeks, Milos will get off a plane... And be arrested.
Hank: Boris, this is good news.
Boris: But incomplete, Hank. I want to know what it is he had Dmitry trying to find at Shadow Pond. And I want to know what it is worth killing Dima for. Once he's arrested, Milos may... not be so willing to reveal that.

Shelby Shackelford: (speaking about Eugene) He's pushing me for a decision on who's gonna run the concierge program by Monday. He's a big Dr. Van Dyke fan.
Divya: Then he and Dr. Van Dyke have that in common.

Paige: You know how he (Evan) respects you.
General William Collins: I thought he was afraid of me.
Paige: Terrified... but in a respectful way.

Hank: Trust me.
Evan: Just trust you? No! Henry, that's not how this works. We are brothers, and we're partners. And what I just heard in there isn't only about you. It's about us, our lives, our business, all of it. So, for a change, how about you trust me?

Minnie: So what do you think I have?
Hank: Well, it could be an inflammatory bowel disease.
Minnie: Ew.
Hank: So I'd like to take some blood and schedule you for a colonoscopy with a biopsy.
Minnie: Yay! Colonoscopy!

Hank: Look, I know it's strange, but that's what makes these so hard to diagnose.
Pat: So how do they usually find them?
Hank: During the autopsy.
Pat: This has been a lousy couple days.

Hank: Ev, what did I say about deviating from the plan?
Evan: Not to do it?

Evan: A very wise man once said that with great power comes great responsibility. I love that quote. I live by it.
Pat: Yeah. Voltaire said that in 1832.
Evan: That's a very good guess. No, it was actually Uncle Ben in Spiderman.

Hank: It's called "detailing the provenance." They do it for every auction.
Boris: What assurance have we that dangling the contents of Shadow Pond in front of Milos will cause him to show his hand?
Hank: None. But if it works, we get Milos and whatever he's been after. And if it doesn't, we still get Milos. So what do you think?
Boris: I think... we change the plan.

Cultural References
Evan: (to Hank, Divya and Jeremiah) Maybe she's (Minnie) on the Mexican
tapeworm diet.

The Mexican tapeworm diet is a real world dietary regimen that is illegal in almost every other part of the world because of the very dangerous and potentially lethal side effects.

Episode References
Jeremiah: So the rich old man died, and the administrator threw Hank under the bus because it turned out he was an ad... 'cause it turned out he was a trustee.
Shelby Shackelford: Well, no wonder Hank's so skittish about hospitals.

In episode 1x01, Pilot, Hank loses his job and fiancee and ends up practicing medicine in the Hamptons.
