Will Travers has a fairly mundane life. He works as an intelligence analyst at the New York City based American Policy Institute, and his daily routine is nothing too exciting. That is until his father-in-law and boss David Hadas dies in a sudden train crash.

Will quickly suspects that David's death was no accident, and with help from clues David himself left behind, begins to piece together the reasons why someone wanted his father-in-law removed from the equation.

Will's search leads him to a massive conspiracy within API itself. It seems API does more than just analyze information and crunch numbers, with the higher ups actively working to influence the outcome of major world events. Now, Will strives to uncover and expose the conspiracy, all while trying not to get noticed by those who could make him disappear.
