The Party - Recap

The scene opens with Steve bringing caterers to Emmy’s treehouse on her first day in Neverwood. Thinking that they are asleep, he has them start to set up. Emmy and Puddle are already awake and Steve tells that he made breakfast for them and has a Waffle trolley for Puddle. Steve tells that he got rid of Emmy’s car and got her a new car. Migo pulls up in an electric car. Emmy tells that she doesn’t want the new car. Steve is upset that one of the servants dropped the Ham and picks it up to throw it at him but gets it all over Emmy’s shirt instead. She tells that all of her clothes are in her car, but then realizes that Steve got rid of her car. He sees this as the chance to show that he bought her new clothes.

They get inside and Emmy is not happy of the expense that Steve spent and tells that he is always going overboard. He has servants walk out in dresses to show Emmy her options. She tells that she doesn’t want this extravagance to affect Puddle, but Puddle is there and she sees that she needs to say something quickly. She tells that Steve is trying to change and he tells that he can stop being so extravagant. Outside, Mr. Lunt tells that Emmy is changing Steve for the worse, but he ignores him. Migo talks to Steve and tells that the annual “unnecessoriee” is coming up and they show the competition that Fa’ad and him have about throwing parties. He tells that Fa’ad can’t find out. However, Fa’ad is there and he overhears that Steve is canceling his party with his Hawk, but there is no hawk. He tries to tells that he feels bad and call the Hawk again and the hawk doesn’t come again. Steve tells that he has a big property and will hide it from Emmy. Fa’ad tells that he won’t tell Emmy about it, but it is clear that he won’t keep the secret. Suddenly the Hawk walks away and the hawk swoops down and attacks Fa’ad.

Inside, Steve tells that they have to try to keep it away form Emmy’s ears and Puddle comes up and Steve tells that he has to have her help him lie to her mom about the party. Emmy comes up and Steve reveals that he is having Whitney Houston come to the party and Emmy tells that she knew that he couldn’t be simple. Puddle makes the mistake of telling Emmy to help Steve and for Steve to allow it. They look at what Steve has already and she tells that it is too much already. She tells that they have to go to the discount store and buy new things. Mr. Lunt tells that she might as well have slather everything and everyone in Mayonnaise and Steve tells that would be great. They go to the discount store and Emmy tries to limit the food and drinks and Steve tells that she is going to ruin the party. He sees that a big tube of mustard costs just as much as the tiny packets that Migo gets from the Yankee Stadium. She tries to back out and let Steve take over, but he tells that he wants her with him. Migo tells that Emmy shouldn’t expect Steve to change too much and admits for overcharging a little bit. Steve goes to the chips and tells that the bags are $1 a bag and Migo tells Emmy that she is going to ruin everything.

The table is set and it is only snack food from the discount store. Fa’ad goes over to laugh at the lack of pizzazz and tells that he is extremely tired from the Hawk attacks. Steve starts to destroy the food and Fa’ad thinks that he is destroying the world and tells him not to destroy the Orgy dome. He tells that it is all pennies and they try to flip over the table and they agree that the table is going to stay because they can’t flip it. He is going to cancel the party and have the big party. Puddle comes in and tells that he can’t do that because it proves that Steve can’t change. Puddle reminds Steve that he convinced people to come to a party that doesn’t have any sense and tells that he can make them have fun without having fun. Fa’ad thinks that he is doing too much and tells that he is going to serve only Raisinettes.

At the party, Steve has convinced people of the irony of the subtlety of the party and Emmy tells that the party is going well and now it is time for her slide show of the Amazon. One by one the guests leave and at slide 400-something, all the guests are gone and Steve blames her. She tells that she is sorry and is upset. She grabs the table and flips it over with no problem and Steve tells that she is strong. Emmy tells that she gets a lot of sleep. Emmy tells that they should go to Fa’ad’s and have a drink and allow for the real Steve Wilde to come out and Steve redirects her back to the slides instead.
