	Tina Fey [2000-2006], played by Tina Fey Tina Fey was named head writer in 1999, making her the first female head writer in the show's history. She also co-anchored "Weekend Update" from 200-2006. She left to work on the new NBC sitcom 30 Rock. Fey also wrote and co-starred in the hit comedy Mean Girls.
