Episode Notes
This is Alec Baldwin's first hosting stint.

This episode won an Emmy for its writing.

A lot of the SNL's writers appear as extras in this episode. This also marks the first on-screen appearance of David Spade, who served as a writer and performer on the show from 1989 to 1996. He plays a hoodlum in the "Environmentally Conscious One" sketch before earning his first speaking role in the Clay/Cruise episode a week later.
