Rob Morrow is the host with musical guests Nirvana.
Gotta love the 90's one of the more popular periods for SNL.
Phil Hartman in the opening sketch makes fun of Oliver Stone. Phil Hartman is a comedy legend and pulls of the impersonation very well. This skit combines the JFK conspiracy theory with the funny incident where George Bush Sr. vomited in China. Hilarious stuff see Dana Carvey once again play the bumbling idiot President and Phil playing Barbara Bush. Best line here "the vomit is gone!!!"
Rob Morrow is the guest host and talks about being at one time an extra for SNL back in 1982 playing role of "Juror Number 11" with Bill Murray in a skit. Obviously, he was picked to guest host because during this time he was in the popular show "Northern Exposure" on CBS.
The "It's Pat" sketch was done well. Rob plays a friend of Pat getting her to play strip poker so she'll reveal whehter she's a guy or girl.
Weekend Update with Kevin Nealon was decent. I don't get why they were fixated on making fun of Jan Brady from Brady Bunch but audience sure loved it. The dumb blonde jokes by Victoria Jackson were flat though.
Nirvana played their great hits. Overall a decent show and if you loved the 90's SNL a must see.
