Episode Notes |
| |
Chris Rock becomes the eighth SNL alumni to host | The syndicated rerun bleeps out use of the "N" word during the fake commercial "Def Emergency Room Jam" (although when it first aired on E!, the "N" word wasn't bleeped). | Dana Carvey appears in this episode as George Bush, Sr. in a sketch with Norm MacDonald as Bob Dole and Darrell Hammond as Bill Clinton. |

Episode References |
| |
In the second "Bob Dole" sketch, Lorne Michaels tells Norm MacDonald to give up the Dole impression because Dole lost the 1996 electon. Norm says, "At least I still have 'Weekend Update'," and Lorne says, "Oh, that's another thing I want to talk to you about..." This is ironic considering that Norm would be fired from "Weekend Update" a year later. |
