SNL legend Dan Aykroyd finally returns to host the show with musical guest Beyonce Knowles.

Episode Notes

This is Tracy Morgan's last episode as a cast member, although he'd appear in the Janet Jackson and Al Sharpton episodes.

This is Chris Kattan's last episode, but he would guest star thoughout next season just like Tracy Morgan.

After appearing in the original cast for four years and ten cameo appearances, Dan Aykroyd becomes the 17th SNL alumni to host. He did not perform any of his own recurring characters or sketches.

Former castmember Bill Murray was in the audience for the live show but did not participate in any sketches.
