From the moment "paternity test" was mentioned I knew he'd rip up the letter, because that's what the men ALWAYS do in films and on tv, and it ALWAYS bugs the hell out of me.
Why not show them getting bad news and choosing to continue being the father figure, why are they ALWAYS shown deciding to live with the truth unknown ?? He should have the right to be psd at the wife for her deception, and should be able to be psd without it meaning he doesn't love his "daughter", without it meaning he wants nothing more to do with his "daughter".
