Not Useful

Useful
| A little tone-deaf, but entertaining

First, let's be honest: some of the cast probably don't need to be singing in public.
Okay, phew, got that out of the way. The fact is, it doesn't matter too much. The songs -- written by the creative time behind the musical Avenue Q, a Broadway parody of Sesame Street -- are witty and explain some basic relationships in Scrubs, to the point this actually isn't a terrible jumping-on point for new viewers. That said, the episode doesn't have a great deal of substance as a consequence (never mind the amount of time killed in dance numbers.) I could discuss the storyline here, but it's modest at best.
On the other hand, so what? This is a half-hour fun show, and this episode fits that bill. It's candy. Have a piece.
