Carla worries that she's losing her Latin identity and fears that her daughter may never learn about her heritage. J.D. lands himself in hot water when the staff realizes that he uses nicknames because he doesn't know anyone's real name. Upon hearing this, the Janitor proposes a challenge -- J.D. must identify everyone by name in the hospital, and if he can't he has to be a janitor for a day.

Episode Quotes |
| |
JD: I don't even like water parks, I mean I did, until someone thought it would be funny to go down the slide two seconds after me.
Turk: Dude, the lifeguard told me to go
JD: Really?! Did he also tell you to take your trunks off Turk? Because the last thing a guy wants to see when he is in a splash pool is his best friends junk headed towards him at 40 miles per hour. Felt like I got pistol whipped. | Janitor: Hey Teddy! Looking bald, and sweaty! | Janitor: So how about a little wager? If I win you have to do my job for a day.
JD: And if I win?
Janitor: I'll do my job for a day.
JD: How is that fair?
Janitor: I'll actually do my job for a day.
JD: Oooh! Deal, do you know how?!
Janitor: It's been a while, I can do it.
