Episode Notes |
| |
A box in the closet has "934-TXS" printed across it. Just one of many references to it on the show. | The words "re-cycled animation" are written across one of the boxes in the closet. This is perhaps a joke the writers are playing at the expense of themselves, as a great portion of the animation shown on Sealab 2021 is taken directly from the original version of Sealab 2020. |

(Murphy punches Sparks)
Murphy: I warned him.
Marco: Damn! He's out cold. You know, you throw a pretty good punch Captain.
Murphy: Well, there were a lot of bullies in my neighborhood when I was a kid.
Marco: Your dad got you boxing lessons?
Murphy: No, I just got beat up a lot. So now when I get the chance I like to sucker punch people. | Murphy: The point is once his buddies find out they'll be on me like stink on rice, got it? | Quinn: C'mon people! You know Sealab is prone to massive explosions.
Sparks: Yeah, this place is a freakin' bomb-on-stilts. | Murphy: Why don't you call Bruce Springsteen and tell him to get another nickname since you're already the boss?! |

The Boss:
Murphy tells Quinn to call Bruce Springsteen and tell him change his nickname of "The Boss." This name, which Bruce once hated but has come to terms with, was given to him in his younger years. When his band would play gigs, Bruce would take the task of distributing the nightly pay to the various band members. |

Much like in the episode "Chickmate," there is a scene after the credits of Captain Murphy with a mustache, removing his suit. This time instead of Debbie lying in bed, it is Buckethead Wendy. |
