| A great Debbie-centered episode.

Another great Sealab 2021 episode. This one entitled Chickmate, revolves around Debbie and her journey to become a mother after her "biological clock" goes off.
The episode starts off with Debbie waking up, screaming "I gotta have a baby!" after you see a little clock of a baby start ringing. She thinks that a little baby dolphin is her child and the crew start to get worried. This then leads to a scene where Marco and Stormy have a conversation about the two Debbie's. Stormy insist on calling the teacher Debbie, "Black Debbie" and leads to some hilarious dialogue. Eventually "White Debbie" enters the room and tells all the male crew that one of them gets to be the lucky father. I agree with Stormy on this one. "Sweeet."
Next, Debbie goes around interviewing all the crew. In this hilarious scene we are introduced to the Captain's Stash. Mustache. After the Captain's interviewing is done, Stormy plays a tape he made which is quickly interrupted by Hesh on the TV. He starts screaming for Debbie come down there and give Hesh some sex. Sparks then talks to Debbie and offers her a book. A Modest Proposal by Jonathon Swift. What is it about you may ask? Eating babies...
Could it get any worse for Debbie? Yes, it could. Marco enters the room and turns on some Latin music and strips down for Debbie, showing off his muscles. Luckily, Dr. Quinn enters and uses his brain power to tell Debbie all about how he wrote a 200 page thesis detailing his superior qualifications. This gets Debbie in the mood and shows that Quinn is clearly the winner of this competition. Till they all start yelling at each other until Debbie leaves the room.
The episode comes to a conclusion when the Captain ponders what the Space Baby thinks about all this. And what does he think about all this? "Hhhmm....I got nothing." After the credits roll, comes one of my all time favorite scenes in the entire Sealab series. Debbie is laying in bed and the Captain is about to take off his suit. He asks her if she "wants the mustache on or off?" She kindly says "off, please" and the Captain replies "..too bad."
Chickmate is one of my favorite Sealab 2021 episodes. It has some of the funniest dialouge, ranging from the black Debbie bit to Hesh's ranting, to the whole mustache thing.
