The "Seinfeld" Story is an NBC special in which Jerry takes questions from the audience while doing a stand-up act. When one audience member asks where the series came from, Jerry shows the crowd a videotape which included the early production of the show, and the people involved in that production. Each main cast member talks about the first seasons of the show and the episodes that were turning points in the show's success. Throughout the show, there are several clips and bloopers from Seinfeld's beginnings.
