The girls begin to adjust to Miranda's new life with her newborn, which Samantha has a hard time with. Charlotte decides she's finally over Trey and goes out to find her next love, but Carrie, on the other hand, starts to think she's out of great loves now that both Aiden and Big are gone. Meanwhile, Samantha tries to get Richard back and Miranda tries to get the hang of breastfeeding.

Meanwhile, Carrie realizes that she has to gamble in life and not continue to hide.

Samantha begins to think that she's too old to have the lifestyle that she's living, and Charlotte, still worried she'll be an old maid, secretly consults self-help books for advice. Miranda continues to try to lose baby fat by joining Weight Watchers, where she meets Tom "Big Boned".
