Carrie's Sunday brunch is ruined by seeing Mr. Big and Natasha's wedding announcement in the newspaper. Later, Carrie runs into Natasha while shopping, making her bad day even worse. Samantha takes the girls to a day at the spa where Charlotte is too self-conscious to bare all in the steam room. Meanwhile, Miranda's new cleaning lady takes her job too far when she tries to clean up Miranda's life.
In real life, Bridget Moynahan (Natasha) is only 5'9" tall, though being refered to as 5'10" tall. Both Kim Cattrall (Samantha) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) are taller than Bridget Moynahan and the scenes had to be shot to cover up the difference.
Miranda: I love how they say "until recently, the bride worked."
Carrie: Yeah, meaning she quit her job as soon as she found her soul-mate-slash-investment-banker.
Miranda: What's in your goodie drawer? Robert's Rules of Order?
Charlotte: I don't have a goodie drawer.
Carrie: Oh, everybody has a goodie drawer.
Samantha: I have a goodie closet!
Carrie: (voiceover) There are very few things this New Yorker loves as much as Sunday brunch. You can sleep until noon and still get eggs anywhere in the city, alcohol is often included with the meal, and Sunday is the one day a week you get the single woman's sports pages: the New York Times wedding section.
Miranda: Do you have a rolling pin?
Carrie: On me?
Miranda: In your kitchen.
Carrie: Are you kidding me? I use my oven for storage.
