Carrie takes Jack out to dinner with her and the girls and things go well until he gives Miranda relationship advice. Later, Carrie criticizes Jack's book and shuts down on her. Meanwhile, Samantha and Jerry continue to act out their sexual fantasies. Miranda tries to use Jack's advice, and Charlotte demands that Harry propose to her.
