Sherlock Holmes was one of the very few times horror acting legend Peter Cushing opted to star on the small screen. Replacing Douglas Wilmer as the famous sleuth in the second season, Cushing, paired with Nigel Stock as the ever loyal sidekick Dr. Watson tackle some of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous mysteries.
