Anthony "Tony" Stonem, played by Nicholas Hoult
16-year-old Tony Stonem is one of the most popular teenagers in all of Bristol and seems to be every parent's dream. He is handsome, intelligent and does well in all of his exams. Not only that but is fancied by most girls at his school as well as those nearby. However, there are darker aspects to the seemingly perfect Tony's personality. He is very manipulative and controlling. He frequently uses people as a means to an end or even just to amuse himself. The primary victim of this negative character trait is his best friend, Sid Jenkins. Tony seldom misses an opportunity to mock Sid and demean him, usually in public, even calling him a "fucking waste of space" at one point. He is well aware that Sid is in love with his girlfriend, Michelle Richardson, and often uses this to manipulate his friend. |
