Smallville: Persuasion
On Valentine’s Day, Clark is affected by a new form of gem kryptonite that gives him the ability to unwittingly force others to do what he says. Chaos ensues as Lois becomes a traditional girlfriend, Chloe does anything to watch over Clark, and Emil becomes a slacker. When Clark realizes what has happened, he decided to use his new power to learn the truth from Zod about the the murder of Jor-El.

Lois gets Clark to help her peer over the wall of the new R.A.O. Inc., construction site and find out why they're working overtime to complete their tower project. Lois falls and lands in Clark's arms, and then tells him they're moving in high-tech equipment. She figures that they're hiding something but Clark suggests they drop it. Lois wonders if he knows something she doesn't, but he suggests they should enjoy Valentine's Day. She dismisses it as a corporate-create holiday and admits that when she's embraced it in the past, things have gone bad.
