Chloe takes Lana bowling for her bachelorette party. As Chloe takes pictures, a worker at the alley, Daniel Kim notices something about odd about Chloe. He comes over and helps Lana bowl, and uses his krypto-mutant ability to secretly move the bowling balls. When he flirts with her, Lana makes it clear she isn’t interested. They’re unaware that a man has brought in a teenager wearing glasses, Tobias Rice. Tobias takes off his glasses and focuses on Daniel. They go outside and abduct Daniel when he leaves the bowling alley. When Chloe comes out, she see them driving away in the van, just missing her.

The next day Chloe and Clark come to investigate the investigation. Clark refuses to discuss anything about Lana’s upcoming marriage. Daniel comes in and claims he doesn’t remember anything.

At the manor, Lex and Lana are preparing for the wedding but Lana notices that Lex seems curiously interested in what Chloe was doing during the bachelorette party. After she leaves, Lex’s physician Dr. Bethany comes in and warns that Tobias wants hi cornea transplant. Lex tells him to keep stalling Tobias without raising his suspicions.

Chloe checks the police records and determines that other persons with meteor powers have disappeared with their memories erased. Clark figures that Lex is involved. Chloe goes over her photos from the bowling alley and sees one of Tobias pointing out Daniel. Checking her records, she determines that Tobias was blinded during the last meteor shower. They go to his house and he denies being at the bowling alley. However, when he drops his water glass, he inadvertently knocks off his glasses and focuses on Chloe. The duo leave but once outside, Clark uses his superhearing to listen in as Tobias calls Dr. Bethany to inform him he’s found another one.

Lana visits Chloe, admitting that she thought Daniel was a stalker. Chloe mentions what happens and admits that she suspects Lex is involved. Lana insists it isn’t the case. Meanwhile, Clark confronts Dr. Bethany at the hospital. Bethany denies being at the bowling alley or knowing Daniel, and refuses to discuss Tobias under doctor-patient confidentiality. Clark uses his powers to secretly steal Bethany’s laptop computer. He goes back to the Talon where Jimmy explains that Chloe has disappeared. Clark asks Jimmy to hack the laptop while he goes back to Tobias’ house. Tobias admits that Bethany is abducting the people he spots using his power to see krypto-mutants, and that Bethany knows about Chloe.

Chloe wakes up in a laboratory where unseen figures conduct experiments on her.

The next day, Lana brings up Chloe’s suspicions with Lex, and he claims he knows nothing about it. Meanwhile, Chloe arrives at the Talon but can’t tell Jimmy and Clark anything about where she was.

Bethany informs Lex that his laptop has disappeared, and that he had some LuthorCorp files on it. Lex tells him to bring Tobias to him.

Lana goes to Tobias’ house and offers the teenager protection. Tobias insists he doesn’t need protection, and the payment for the work he’s doing will be a cornea transplant allowing him to see. She warns him he might be endangering someone, and suggests it’s Clark. However, Tobias says that he used his powers on Clark and didn’t see any sign of krypto-mutation.

That night, Chloe is working at her apartment as Clark watches her. She realizes that Bethany has placed GPS tracking devices on all of the abducted meteor freaks and ties into the frequency. Jimmy comes in to tell them that the police discovered Daniel Kim dead in an alleged car accident. Another tracking devices goes out on Chloe’s computer screen. She also finds her own tracking dot. They manage to get Jimmy out and Chloe begs Clark to use his x-ray vision to find the implant and then remove it using his heat vision. Wary of the danger, Clark manages to do it without harming her.

At Tobias’ house, Lana is preparing to leave with Tobias and get the boy to safety. Bethany arrives and tells Tobias that they’re ready to perform the surgery. Suspecting a trap, Tobias manages to switch off the lights.

At the Talon, Jimmy returns as Clark and Chloe find the last implant signal: Tobias. Clark makes a hasty exit.

Bethany has a taser gun designed to simulate a heart attack in its victim, and plans to dispose of Lana and Tobias. Tobias, armed with a pistol, manages to attack the doctor using the darkness to his advantage. As the two struggle, Lana grabs Tobias’ pistol. Bethany gets his gun back and prepares to kill Tobias. Clark arrives as Lana and Bethany both fire. Clark deflects Lana’s bullet at invisible superspeed, and then bounces the electrical charge back at Bethany, killing him. He leaves and Tobias and Lana both wonder what happened. As Lana calls the police, she notices the deflected bullet on the floor.

Later, Clark comes by to talk to Tobias. The teenager says that Lana wondered if Clark had any special powers but that he told her he didn’t see anything unusual about Clark. Clark tells Tobias that he’s contacted Oliver Queen, who will get him the corneal transplant he needs. As Tobias leaves, Lana arrives and mentions what happens. She shows him the deflected bullet and he claims it was just a ricochet. Clark thanks her for trying to cover up what she thought was his secret, but that he doesn’t have a secret to hide.

At the manor, Lex wonders why she didn’t come to him for help. Lana admits she saw Lex with Bethany, but Lex claims it had nothing to do with any abductions. He swears on the soul of his unborn child that he’s telling the truth.

Clark talks with Chloe, who has realized that she must have a meteor power that Tobias saw. Clark assures her that he’ll be there for her.

Alone at the manor, Lex reviews the recordings of Chloe’s testing.
