Clay makes a deal with the Mayans that won't be easy to sell to the club, and the Russians aren't exactly in his corner, either. Meanwhile, Gemma worries about what Jax might have learned about her past when he was in Belfast, and the new sheriff, Eli Roosevelt (Rockmond Dunbar), makes his presence felt at SAMCRO's clubhouse.
Clay is having his coffee and he is so happy to be home. Gemma shows a letter from Maureen Ashby to Clay, saying that she is going to ruin everything. Clay thinks that if it was real, they would have heard something by now. He tells her to not start fires when there's nothing to burn. Jax, Tara, and the kids are watching the news and they talk about the retaliation. Opie wants to have fun with his wife and she has to go to work. She asks if he had anything to do with the Russians and he says that they had nothing to do with it. Potter wonders why SAMCRO is getting bold. They are a "mid-level gang", they are not even in the top ten. He wonders about the mayor that is also the developer.
