Sons of Thunder

Sons Of Thunder revolves around Carlos Sandoval and Trent Malloy, friends who have a common bond in the desire for justice. Set in Dallas, Carlos is a Detective with the Dallas Police Department. Trent is a former Army Sergeant and student of Ranger Cordell Walker. Carlos has quite his job at the department to start his own detective firm. Together, the guys solve some of the biggest cases in Dallas. Trent also opens his own Karate gym, Thunder Karate.

Sons of Thunder was a spin-off of popular CBS action series "Walker, Texas Ranger." After having appeared in multiple episodes over a few year span, the characters got their own show. Though it was highly rated, CBS decided not to renew it for fear of budget issues. It was one of the highest rated shows not picked up that season, but gained quite the cult following while it was on the air.
