Garrison is the boys' teacher. In season 9 he had a sex-change operation, and became a woman. When he was Mr. Garrison, he suppressed his homosexuality and was only able to vent his frustrations through his puppet, Mr. Hat. Garrison is not a kind teacher - he often takes his anger out on his students and even mocks them if he feels they are being dumb. When forced to acknowledge his homosexuality, Mr. Garrison disappeared for a while to live in a cave. He was temporarily replaced by Ms. Choksondik, and for a time was demoted to teaching Kindergarten. Garrison later came to accept who he was, and fell in love with Mr. Slave. Once he decided he would be happier as a woman and became Ms. Garrison, she had an affair with British evolutionist Richard Dawkins, and experimented with lesbianism. Recently, Garrison had a penis reattached and has since become a man once again.
