Randy is Stan's dad. He loves his wife and kids, but sometimes he's just too stupid to do the right thing, even though he wants to. He earns a living by being a geologist, but as a teen he was in a boy band for a few years, which has left him with deep emotional scars. Randy has a drinking problem, and has been known to drink and drive and become violent while under the influence. Though deeply in love with his wife, Sharon, he and Gerald once had a sexual experience in a hot tub.
